SweetSnow

How much are you loving this pre-summer weather, LA?!  I hope you're out and about, celebrating the warm and bright(er) day (remember, to turn your clocks an hour back on Sunday!).  If you're in the mood for a fresh sweet treat that is light and refreshing, head to SweetSnow for a generous helping of delicious shave ice.  It will be worth it, trust.

Like most other shave ice places, SweetSnow's concoctions are delicious and satisfying.  Unlike other places, however, SweetSnow adds a personal touch that doesn't go unnoticed.

As most of you, shave ice is exactly what it sounds like -- it's a Hawaiian-based dessert made by shaving a block of ice.  Doesn't sound too appetizing, does it?  You'd be surprised!  The shaving is done so finely that it produces a a very pillowy and snowy pile.  While some shave ice shops stop there by topping the shaved ice with syrups or chopped fruit, SweetSnow takes the snowy goodness and adds to that some creamy ice cream.  The end result is heavenly.

Eat, hang out, play games.

Naked and simple, yet so good.

Fini.

The best part of SweetSnow, if I have to pick one thing, is the fact that despite being a dessert, they utilize the freshest of ingredients and incorporate toppings that don't leave you feeling heavy and gross.  Honestly, it's the best kind of combo you can expect of a dessert joint.  So, what are you waiting for? Go check SweetSnow SnowCream (and Sven) out!
