First off, I hate this question. How could I possibly choose one thing to eat... forever? As simple as I am, I need variety when it comes to food. That said, I love love love sushi. So if I had to pick just one thing, I'd most likely pick sushi... or red meat.
My top sushi bars in Little Tokyo are (in this order): 1) Sushi-Gen; 2) Komasa; 3) Sushi Go 55
Sushi Go 55 may be listed as 3rd, but let me assure you that the fish served here is fresh and very reasonably priced. If the wait at Sushi Gen or Komasa is ridiculous (which is the case most of the time), mosey along to this small gem tucked away in the Japanese Marketplace. Remember, what they may lack in their minimalist decor, they make up in the buttery slices of sashimi... what are you waiting for? Go!
