Saladish

Do you ever feel gross after consuming an ungodly amount of fats, oils, and sugars?  Have you ever experienced overeater's remorse?  Do you vow that you will start eating healthy today?  Well it must be your lucky day because I have a recommendation for you.

The beauty of Saladish is two-fold:  (1) Salad and wraps.  Too limited of a menu, you say?  Think again because... (2) It's a MYO (make-your-own) place where you have the freedom to mix and match from a plethora of veggies, meats, toppings, and dressing choices.  If you feel overwhelmed by the whole process, you can also just pick a pre-determined style and make any desired changes.  You really can't go wrong.

Vegetarian Wrap w/ garlic-herb tortilla
Feeling particularly healthy (or particularly guilty by my relentless fatty ways), I opted for the Vegetarian Wrap.  In a large garlic-herb tortilla, this wrap was stuffed with tomatoes, sprouts, corn, kidney beans, carrots, artichoke hearts, beets, cucumbers, green peppers, mushrooms, and mixed greens.  Instead of the herbal vinaigrette, I got the Thai peanut dressing for a tangy kick.  It's amazing how "rabbit food" can taste this good... almost convinces me I can be vegetarian... almost.

Turkey, Bacon, Avocado Wrap
My co-worker got the TBA wrap with ranch dressing on the side.  (On-the-side for dressing is always a good idea especially if you don't want a drenched wrap, although the folks here seem to know that salad ought not be drowning in dressing).  This was also de-lish-ous!

Along with fresh, healthy food, service is two thumbs up and decor is inviting and lush.

If you're on Colorado Blvd, and need a quick bite to eat, I highly recommend Saladish.  Even after a huge salad or wrap, you won't feel an ounce of regret.  Sometimes, that's a nice post-meal feeling.  :)
