Yogurtland

I can't say I've been to every froyo place in LA, but I can say I've been to most of the popular ones including Pinkberry, Red Mango, Menchies, Golden Spoon, and 21 Choices. Some are better than others (21 Choices!), but all are fairly decent.

Yogurtland, however, holds a very special place in my heart and will forever be in an entirely different playing field as far as froyo goes. Not only are there a wide variety of froyo flavors, but the toppings are usually well-stocked and fresh. What's more, the price is just 10 cents an ounce! That trumps any other cost per topping price sham method.
