John O'Groats

After hearing and reading many mixed reviews about this place, I finally checked it out for myself. However, because I had a breakfast sandwich before (I know; I'm a fatty), I didn't order one of their specials. Instead, I opted for their "Mini Breakfast," which was, indeed, "mini."

A and J ordered the Latino Heat (they would, ha), burrito style. It included spicy turkey sausage, cheddar cheese, jalapeno chiles, sour cream, salsa, and guac with potatoes on the side.

S, not a typical bfast eater, ordered a sausage (spicy turkey?) and egg combo with potatoes on the side.

The French pressed coffee was delish, per usual. I've yet to have bad French pressed coffee... I hope I didn't just jinx myself.

With all things considered, I give John 3/5 stars. The food was decent, but a bit on the dry side. Plus, I can't say I saw anything on the menu that I couldn't just make in my own kitchen. Without coming off as arrogant, I just say that because for the prices, the food wasn't really worth it.

Also as a sidenote, always thoroughly read parking signs before running off to brunch... esp. when they are in red. (sorry, A!)
