Shave It

Tropical Swell - $4.50

For those of you fortunate to have visited Hawa'ii (or for those who live there!), you probably often dream of shave ice, or at least shaved ice done right.  A cup of fluffy, fruity goodness that makes you wonder if you're really eating ice, coupled with smooth vanilla ice cream with macademia nut pieces = a piece of heaven on earth!

For what it's worth, Shave It does a decent job, but in no way compares to the masters over at Waiola.
In fact, I think it pales in comparison even to Get Shaved, LA's premier shave ice truck who has now also gone brick & mortar.  Still, who denies shave ice in hot weather or cold?  Not I.
