Gloria's Cafe

It's a Friday night.  You've had a rough week at work, or if like me, a long week of law school finals.  All you want is some delicious comfort food and a large glass (or two, or three) of sangria.  If you're on the Westside, go to Gloria's and all your problems will disappear, if even for a moment.

Large pitcher of sangria - $21 (very large, very refreshing)

Chicken Quesadilla - $8

Beef Taquitos plate - $9

Carne Adobada - $12

The most popular dish at Gloria's is the carne adobada.  Tender chunks of carnitas served in an adobada sauce that is stewed and prepared with much care and love -- what more can you want?  Gloria's secret sauce is incredibly flavorful and ever abundant.  If you love carnitas, you will not be one bit disappointed in this dish.  I rarely do this, but I'll guarantee it!
