Madame Matisse

Silverlake is for hipsters... and good brunch spots. Madame Matisse, you did not disappoint.
Millie's Cafe, which is located a few doors down, also showed fierce competition with people waiting out on the streets. I haven't tried Millie's yet, so I can't say which ones the best brunch of the block award, but the food, atmosphere (sit outside!) and prices were reasonable at MM.

Make-Your-Own Omelette with spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, and cheddar cheese. garlic roasted rustic potatoes and fruit on the side.

Hash with eggs, sunny side-up. more roasted rustic potatoes.

Crabcake Eggs Benedict with English muffin

Blueberry, buttermilk pancakes with spicy sausage and poached eggs
