Coral Tree Cafe

Looking for a place to study or work in Brentwood other than Starbuck's or Coffee Bean? Try Coral Tree Cafe.

Situated on coral-tree lined San Vicente Blvd., Coral offers ample space, free wi-fi, and delicious food (and wine!). With indoor seats and an outdoor patio (with a fire pit), it's also a great place for larger groups. The food is good overall -- in many ways, it reminds me of a more rustic, less health nutty version of Urth's selections -- and the service has been, at least for me, splendid.

Curried Chicken Sandwich - $10.75
Grilled chicken breast chunks with golden raisins, red onions, and carrots, marinated in a light curry mayo, arugula, and roma tomatoes on a ciabatta roll.

Caprese Grill Panini - $10.25
Fresh Buffalo mozzarella, roma tomatoes, fresh basil arugula with a roasted garlic spread, served on a panini-pressed French baguette.

Coral Tree's Arrabbiata - $10.50
Rigatoni pasta with a spicy homemade tomato sauce, fresh garlic, fresh parsley, fresh shallots and a touch of extra virgin olive oil, served with a side of Parmesan Reggiano.
